How did your love story begin?

We both met at the Baptist Collegiate Ministries when we attended Columbus State University. We initially became friends through similar interests such as video games, anime, and movies. Funnily enough, we both became huge Jojo Bizarre Adventure fans since that was our first conversation between each other. Overtime, we developed feelings as we spent time together doing the things we love like watching Daredevil or doing ministry work. I truly believe that God put us together to love each other.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our engagement story is pretty funny. Garrison set up a nice picnic at our favorite park and had a friend close by to take pictures and video of the engagement. I was completely unaware after we ate lunch and wanted to stay sitting even though Garrison kept wanting me to get up. It wasn't until a butterfly, which I'm afraid of, tried to go up my dress did I stand up. When I turned around to see him proposing, I said “Was the butterfly a paid actor?” We laughed, he said a speech, and I said yes.

What would you do with $20,000?

With the $20,000, we would want the money to go towards the wedding, honeymoon, other expenses, and savings. Since I am trying to complete my Master’s, the money can help us save as Newlyweds. The money will also help lower stress and anxiety about wedding/honeymoon costs. The savings portion will go towards an eventual house or car payment.
