Connect How did your love story begin?

Both of us were looking for a partner long term on tinder. Yes Tinder. I wanted to fall in love and build a future with my ideal man. After a few conversations we exchanged phone numbers. We both agreed to start off slow because we both had bad luck in relationships. One month later we decided to have a date at the Vampire Cafe in New Orleans. It was in October and we wanted to do something Halloween themed. Obviously the date went very well. After the date we hit it off and the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I can’t pick one because whenever I’m with him it’s always fun and memorable. But my most favorite would have to be in February when it snowed in Louisiana. My boyfriend Jose had to go to work and since my house was the closest he came over and spent 3 nights with me and the family. It felt like Christmas time with the snow and we kept telling each other we couldn’t wait to live with each other so that way the snow would never melt, and he would have to go back home.

What would you do with $20,000?

I really want to go to Blue Cliff College and do the cosmetology course. Most of the women in my family are in cosmetology and it would mean the world to me getting my education so I can be a licensed hairdresser. It costs $15,000. I could use the money to pay for it. Me and my family are too broke and can’t afford it. We can barely afford to get by with the bills especially since the economy has gotten so expensive. The rest of the money I’d like to put to the side and save for our future house
