We have been together for 9 years. Started as friends, but our first real "date" was a trip to Puerto Rico together. Many adventures since.
We would like to thank you for supporting Chelsea & Joe in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Joe and I worked together at a popular chain restaurant. I was a bartender and he was my manager. I knew from day one that I was wildly attracted to him. But when I finally got the nerve to ask him out for coffee or a drink, he turned me down. He said he didn't want to abuse the power structure or lose his job. Which naturally made him even more desirable to me. Eventually he was relocated to another store. I asked for a date yet again, and this time he said yes!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Any time we travel together is when our love really blossoms and shines! One stand out trip would be our West Coast road trip. Started in Las Vegas and drove up to Mount Rainier in Washington. We stopped at as many National Parks and breweries as we could possibly muster in a 10 day time frame. The views were stunning, the beers delicious, and the road trip tunes were perfectly curated.
What would you do with $20,000?Use the money for a down payment on a house. We have been together for 9 years, and have lived at Joe's brother's house for 8 of those years. I would really like to have a home of our own where we can eventually raise a family. But so far money has not allowed for it. Having our own house feels like the next major step in our adventures together. As much as we love travel, it's important to have a home base to return to.
