Olivia and I met mid-COVID and texted our way into something more. One summer, she roped me into paddle boarding—she was a pro, I was a mess. I lost both flip flops in the mud and squelched home barefoot, laughing the whole way. She told her parents, “He lost his shoes and didn’t even get mad!” They said, “Hold on to that one!” Since then, it’s been one epic adventure after another!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is our special and personal engagement. After years volunteering at Markoff’s Haunted Forest, I teamed up with trail staff and our families to surprise Olivia. In full costume by a giant bonfire, I popped the question—she had no clue! The next day, we had professional photos taken out of monster makeup, giving us tons of great shots to share.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d save the money for a down payment on a home once Chad completes his army commitment. It would also help us start a college fund for our future kids when the time comes.
