In Sophomore year of HS, we had a mutual friend who we talked to about each other, luckily Dontrell & I ended up in the same study hall and admired each other from afar! I guess the timing wasn’t right. After we graduated, we started working together at Goodwill. He approached me and invited me on a date. It was summer, we went on a nature walk, had pizza & at the end, he asked permission to kiss me..so romantic!! All went up from there, and each day our love grows stronger.

Just shy of 3months dating, I wanted to go on a camping trip for Halloween, and somehow thought weather would be nice enough in the Midwest..ha! Nope. Arrived to the campsite with our little tent, could barely get it standing, then it started snowing..a storm! We cuddled for warmth and woke up to Icicles hanging above our heads. He mentioned the night before we should ditch it and grab a hotel, but we stuck it out and we made the best of it. As long as we’re together, anything is worth it(:

We would definitely use $20,000 towards a down payment on a house, wedding, debt, and help family. We want to create a home of our own and we are still in the planning and saving stages of our wedding, so that extra money would be super helpful and we’d be very blessed to put it towards those 2 huge steps in our relationship and then some to share.
