We are from different cultures, didn’t have a future because one of us was going back to the home country is now a 18 year happy marriage.

I was in an exchange program to be a volunteer in an Spanish immersion school, found myself speaking mostly Spanish so I went to a dating site for English speakers just to met people and practice my English and we met at a coffee shop 4 months before I had to go back to my country, we dated and I went back, kept in contact and I was asked by the program if I wanted to come back, I said yes, came back a year later and we picked up like if no time had passed. Got married a year and a half later.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My husband moved to my home country for 3 years so I could be with my terminally ill mother, even though that was the toughest time of my life him being there was very important. Also we have been able to travel abroad once a year for the last 4 years and there’s so many memories that we can’t choose only one.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to have a savings account that we can use just for traveling, we loved the memories that we create every time we go and see the world, so we saved all year for that one adventure, it will be nice not to worry about having the means to do it.
