We met as kids and were each others first boyfriend and girlfriend. 20 years later IG suggested him as a friend, now we're getting married.
We would like to thank you for supporting Catherine and Chad in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met when I was 14 and my partner was 15 in Nebraska hanging out with friends. We dated for a while but my family moved to Cleveland and we lost touch. Social media has played cupid to us twice, first around 2010 when we reconnected on Facebook but I was living in Texas and he was still in Nebraska. Ten years later I was back in Ohio and Instagram kept suggesting him as a friend, so I reached out and we talked for 11 hrs straight and have been together ever since. We are now getting married!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? There are several favorites, but recently we took vacation in Arizona. We took a UTV up the Superstitious Mountains and a little past Tortilla Flats, he pulled over at a scenic overview, surrounded by nothing but the grandeur of nature and asked me to marry him with a ring he found at the gift shop in the little mining town we visited the day before.
What would you do with $20,000?We are getting married so it would be nice to have a lot of those expenses paid for and to continue to travel together and see the world. Six months ago my dad passed away. He and my mom used to travel all the time together and that is one thing I would like to do to honor their memory as a family tradition.
