How did your love story begin?

John and I met through an online dating site during covid in August 2021. We had a couple of dates and was instantly attracted to each other. John walked away unexpectedly. He texted me saying he had family issues to deal with. I was shocked, yet all I could do was say goodbye. One year later John texted me and wanted to reconnect. He said I was the one that got away. I was scared he might walk away again, so he had to convince me to see him again. We've been inseparable ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our first kiss. We went to a festival as our first date the second time around. Covid was still around so it wasn't a great event. We both wanted to leave the event but not each other, so we went to a nearby lake to just walk and talk. At one point the moment just felt right and we kissed. Later John shared a selfie that he took of the moment we kissed, with me. We love that picture as we often reflect on how perfect that kiss was and the fact that he captured it!

What would you do with $20,000?

John and I are both planning to retire in the next 1-3 years. We love to travel and plan to travel more once we retire. We also want to buy a small farm where we can grow our own food and have a community sharing system. We'd use the prize money for some traveling and to help with the down payment on our forever home.
