Connect How did your love story begin?

I first met John in 2019 when I was teaching yoga at a studio in NYC. We barely spoke back then—just a passing wave good-bye. It wasn’t until 2022 that we actually connected. Something clicked during that first real conversation, and what started as a quiet reconnection grew into a deep partnership grounded in love, adoration, fun, creativity and shared values.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

In January 2023, John and I were van camping in Australia. After a foggy, rainy drive to Mt. Kosciuszko, I saw my first wild kangaroos. But the moment I’ll never forget was waking in the night to John shouting, “you have to come outside.” Above us: the Milky Way and Southern Cross stretched across the dark night sky. It was breathtaking—vast, quiet, and unforgettable.

What would you do with $20,000?

We dream of road-tripping through our birthplaces—Scotland and the Philippines. Though we both left at age three, we’re eager to reconnect with our roots and share that with each other. We've already done cross-country trips in the places we were raised—the U.S. and Australia—and love the rhythm of life on the road. Exploring where we come from feels like the next meaningful step in our journey together.
