We met at 20, our mutual friend wanted to set us up; timing wasn’t right. Remet at her wedding 7 years later; again timing wasn’t right & we never exchanged phone numbers! 2.5 years later, he “slid into my DMs,” at the advice of our friend. I happened to be in NYC on business, so we went rollerskating! After meeting 10 years prior, I left NYC with a long distance boyfriend. We navigated through Covid-19, Aaron moved 1/2 way across the country, we got a dog, & are living our happily ever after.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We found a secret trail in Waipio Valley, Hawaii, that led to a beautiful waterfall. We had it all to ourselves. We had a picnic with bottle of Veuve champagne, and then Aaron proposed under the waterfall.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it towards our family home and start a college fund for our future children.
