She was a journalist, he was a produce manager. She interviewed him for an article, they reunited & fell in love years later.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Casey was finishing college and interning for a local magazine. Her editor sent her to interview the produce manager at a local grocery. She interviewed Christian, the manager, but remembered his smile more than the article. They didn’t cross paths again until a few years later, they hit it off over a shared love of hiking, music, and animals. The interview itself left both of their minds until she came across the magazine that brought them together in his memory box.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We are lifelong Floridians and have seldom seen snow. When we went on a hiking trip in West Virginia, we were hoping to come across some. After driving through a remote forest, Christian pulled over and found some snow still left from that morning. We had a snowball fight and made the world’s least biblically accurate snowman. It was a ton of fun.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to continue paying off our first home and some of my medical bills. I was recently diagnosed with an invisible illness and treatment has made hiking and travel a bit of a challenge. We adore our quality time, and I look forward to putting my boots on again soon.
