We are the complete opposite and still manage to find the commonalities between us which is what all relationships with others should be.
We would like to thank you for supporting Casa de Ramowens in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We’ve known each other since first grade—no real “meeting,” he’s just always been in the background of my life. After college, he reached out when I needed a friend most. We met in LA for a wedding and never looked back. We moved in, got a dog, bought a house, eloped in secret a year before our wedding, and had two beautiful daughters. We’re total opposites—yin and yang—but at the end of the day we choose each other, always.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? It’s hard to choose one favorite memory—we’ve laughed, cried, adventured, and grown together through it all. But if we had to pick, it’s the little moments where we see each other truly happy. Whether we’re poking fun at each other , cheering each other on, or just being there on the hard days—those smiles, those sparks of joy, that’s what we hold onto. Our favorite memory is seeing the other one shine.
What would you do with $20,000?We brought both our daughters home to this house, filling it with love, laughter, and a lot of toys. But as our family grows, our space is shrinking. We’d use the $20,000 to put a deposit on our forever home—a place with room to grow, where our kids can make memories, where we can keep choosing each other, every day. It’s not just about more space—it’s about building the next chapter of our family’s story.
