We both lived in the same dorm in college and crossed paths without meeting fully. Carter was best friends with the girls that lived across the hall from Skyler. It wasn’t til the next year when one of those girls invited us both to a football game. Afterwards, we stayed up talking til 4am but neither of us were sure if it was just friendly. It wasn’t until the friend told Skyler that Carter normally goes to sleep at 11pm that we realized it. We’ve been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Every summer we have gone on a camping trip. We recently went throughout Colorado and visited 3 of its National Parks: Mesa Verde, Great Sand Dunes, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison. We just have a lot of fun hiking and exploring new places together and have so many memories from this trip.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d love to go on a proper vacation and explore internationally so we would likely use about a 1/3 of it for that. The rest we’d honestly put into investments/savings for our wedding or a downpayment on a house.
