We met on a boat ride playing hookie from work. Our married friends co-owned the boat with my husband, I worked with the wife and he worked with the husband. It was a hot day in May and we spent the day boating the Hudson River. I definitely noticed my now husband that day, but I had just ended a bad relationship and was not looking for anyone. Two months later I moved to the same town they all lived in, and he got wrangled into moving me as he owned a truck. 8 days later we were dating.

We have shared many fun filled moments, but where we shine the best together is on projects. In 2015, we embarked on our biggest project yet, opening our own business. We worked nights and weekends outside of our engineering careers to open an Artisan Boutique featuring local goods from small batch artists and makers. Taking a dream and making it into a reality with our own hands is a testament to our love for eachother and how well we communicate and work to achieve our goals.

We would likely invest a portion into our business that just turned 10 years old, and then we would likely take a much needed trip overseas. Running your own business does not allow for much time off, working Holidays and weekends, missing family gatherings and celebrations. We would like to explore the cultures and cuisines of the world together and take some time for ourselves to just sit back, relax and enjoy the joys of traveling. We are adventurous in life and in food.
