While going through long distance, college, and the military we have been motivating each other to be the best versions of ourselves.
We would like to thank you for supporting Caroline and Philip in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met on a dating app. We both were busy and not really sure what we were looking for. In the chaos of life, we decided to go on our first date. We went to Sawmill Market in Albuquerque New Mexico. We sat on a bar top! We got along so well. When we were done with our food, we went outside. It was raining. We walked to our cars, but stayed for another 30mins talking and laughing. After that the rest is history!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory with Philip was celebrating his birthday. It was complete chaos. I had planned a hot air balloon ride, so we woke up early and got all the way to the check in. As soon as we checked in, they told us that we wouldn’t be able to go because it was raining. I was so disappointed, but we ended up seeing a movie instead. A month later we were able to go on the hot air balloon ride and a helicopter ride to celebrate his birthday! -Caroline
What would you do with $20,000?We would use $20,000 to finish off the next year and a half of long distance. This would be able to help us with visits and flights. After that we would use what’s left over for an apartment! Thank you for considering us! P.s. we entered for fun and don’t expect to win, but would be great if we did!
