Our love story started over buffalo wings at a Jersey City diner. He opened with, “Aren’t the wings good here?” I said yes—and kept eating. He kept talking, I kept ignoring. His Southern accent gave him away. He offered me a drink—I declined. Asked for my number—I said, “Let’s just be Instagram friends.” But when I went to pay, he’d already picked up the check. I was impressed. I gave him my number—and made him post a pic on Instagram to prove he was single!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our first dates was a Giants vs. Eagles game—me, a city girl Giants fan; him, a country boy Eagles fan. Love still won. We spent Valentine’s Day in Puerto Rico, bought our first home during the pandemic, and brought home our pups, Kai and Khaleesi—named after Cobra Kai and Game of Thrones. Our love? Fierce as a dragon, loyal as a dojo—Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d put it toward our out-of-pocket IVF costs as we grow our family. Anything left would go to a college fund for our future rainbow baby—and a custom dog house and plush beds so our pups, Kai and Khaleesi, can live large in their own pup pad. After all, they’ve been with us every step of the way.
