Our second chance marriage gave us traditions and memories with five children who deserved all of life’s gifts of love. Tabula rasa!
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We met in the cafeteria of the high school due to our 2 oldest getting scholarships. He sat in my chair and the entire table said they would shift down so we could sit together. I said we're not together! He asked if he was in my chair and I said "No, the pocket book is alone?" thinking is this guy for real? We started to chat and had never met through 12 years of the kids being in school. He had the math kid and I had the reader, but were about to become family!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Not to be obvious but our wedding. It's due to the fact that my mother-in-law was only briefly alive during our 17 year relationship. I wish I could have shared more memories with her in addition to the wedding. She was energetic and vivacious in spirit. Her being there for our wedding makes that one of my favorite memories.
What would you do with $20,000?I would give 20 percent to charity, most likely sex trafficking organizations since our daughter Jessica does fund raising for this. After that I would replace my 1988 dining room set and my 2004 living room furniture (sorry to my son Andrew who loves the sofa)!
