We met on Tinder in 2020. At the time, he was working as a chiropractor’s assistant, and he kindly scheduled an appointment for my knees when my orthopedic doctor was unavailable. I met him in person the day of that appointment—and I was completely smitten. Afterward, he invited me to stay and talk once he got off work. That moment sparked something special. We spent the entire summer dating—going on beach trips, hanging out at parks, and spending time at each other’s homes.

I have to say, one of the most meaningful moments was our trip to the Dominican Republic to meet his family. He was really nervous about introducing me as his partner, and honestly, we were both unsure of how they’d react—given, you know, the weight of tradition. But when I met them, they were incredibly warm, humble, and full of love. I think that was the moment he truly felt accepted for who he is—and I felt welcomed into a kind of family I’d never really had before.

We’d love to put it toward the wedding of our dreams. We just got engaged on May 31, 2025, and we’re currently in the process of searching for venues for a 2027 celebration. We’re definitely going big—we feel like we owe it to ourselves to honor our love story and share it with the people who have supported us along the way. This will be a beautiful moment, and honestly, I owe it to Carlos to make sure he knows he made the right choice—lol
