We truly consider each other our best friend. No matter how tough life gets, we face it side by side always finding a way to figure it out.
We would like to thank you for supporting Carey & Guri in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We actually started out as friends! One night, my friend invited someone over, and he happened to bring his friend along, that friend turned out to be Guri. We hit it off, but it wasn’t until much later that we realized we had met before and even had a photo together from years ago, back when he was a club promoter. It felt like fate had brought us full circle
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We spent a lot of time thinking about this question and had so many honorable mentions—like our spontaneous trip to NYC, the times Guri helped me decorate for events (since I’m an event decorator/planner), or the family dinners we’ve lovingly hosted together. But in the end, we couldn’t pick just one. Every moment we share feels special, and we truly cherish them all.
What would you do with $20,000?We’re planning our wedding for next year, and as you know, weddings can be incredibly expensive these days. Being able to use this would truly help ease the financial burden and make a meaningful difference for us.
