Jacob and I moved from our childhood homes (Him Maine and I Louisiana) to of all places Mississippi. My mom ran a teens cosplay club and I was the president. Jacob’s neice joined and he had to take her to a club meeting at my house. I opened my front door and saw him for the first time. He told me that when I opened that door, he fell in love at first sight. I think it’s funny because when I looked at him the first thing I thought was “oh a parent dropping off their kid”!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We got married earlier this year and I have to say that reading our vows might have been one of our new favorite memories. We were so sure that we had the other one beat. I would say “you are NOT ready for my vows!” And he would reply back “My vows are REALLY good!” We ended up both crying so I don’t really know who won. However he cried way harder and confessed that my vows were “really really really” good.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, we would save it to buy our first house. I’m a graphic designer and he works in IT, so we have been saving for the last 3 years. We rent an apartment right now and we are just so excited to keep growing our lives together. I think at the end of the day, all we really want is to provide for each other however we can, and a house would be such a great show of our love for each other!
