Connect How did your love story begin?

We met in a high school class, specifically creative writing. I sat next to him on the first day and we traded numbers the second day, and we hit it off immediately. Our first date was at the dinosaur museum. Throughout the school year, we used our anonymous blog/pen names for class to make flirty poems and stories about each other, and everyone in the creative writing department were frantically trying to guess who the two people were flirting with each other!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Definitely our wedding day. It was the most magical, loving day. Most of our creative writing friends were there, and even some of them were our groomsmen. By the time we decided to get married, we were (kind of) newly graduated high schoolers. It took so much effort to save up and work towards being able to afford a wedding and moving in together. But we’ve seen each other through thick and thin in the past 3.5 years, and we couldn’t be happier!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would pay off our car, our honeymoon loan, and save most of the rest for our future. This is a hard time to be living in and the extra cash would help secure our future a bit more, especially for when we decide to start a family in a few years. We want to be as successful as possible. Jacob also wants to start his own animation studio, so along with the extra money we’d be able to invest in that dream for him!
