Connect How did your love story begin?

I used to take cabs to work all the time and when I met Eric, there was something about him that was very reassuring. I felt completely safe when I was with him so I began calling him directly for rides. Both of us were going through a lot at that time and we instantly became best friends. We helped each other through that period. We have continued ever since to help each other through the hard times. There have been quite a lot.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I know it sounds cheesy, but for each of us, the last time we cracked each other up is always our favorite memory. For me, the time I was having a panic attack and Eric had to cut a work trip short was indicative of what he does for me. He prioritizes my mental health. Instead of making me feel bad, he brought me a stuffed panda bear from the hotel. That bear is what I hug when I want to feel safe and loved.

What would you do with $20,000?

Well, because of my disability we work from home now. I would love to invest the money in our business. I’m a floral designer/ consultant and he’s a indie game developer. The pandemic changed things for me, and I think I do much better when both of us are just closer to home. I would definitely use the money to promote the match three game he created for me called Pandamonium Puzzle. I would love for the world to see it.
