Bandmates, to friends, to lovers. Jared, early for his own rehearsal, stumbled into Camden’s vocal jazz rehearsal. He asked his friend who she was, and chose her as the vocalist for his band. After months of making music together and building a strong friendship, their mutual attraction to each other came to the surface. They truly are each other’s better halves!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Moving into our Chicago apartment together. Meeting at the University of South Carolina (Jared being from SC and Camden being from IL), it was an incredible twist of fate when Jared was offered a job in Chicago, an hour from where Camden grew up. Jared packed up, moved 800+ miles across the country, and is now living with Camden and their two cats Jaco (4) and Fitzgerald (1). Expecting to operate with some distance in our relationship, we are blessed enough to live in the same space sooner.
What would you do with $20,000?Ideally, save it for our wedding or towards a down-payment on a house! Weddings can be extremely expensive, as can houses in this economy. Jared, a full-time accompanist for the Joffrey Ballet, and Camden, a full-time Lab Specimen Processor with Northwestern Medicine, make enough to pay for living expenses and good lives for their 2 cats, but don’t leave enough to enjoy and celebrate themselves as a couple.
