We met as adults at the waterfront park in San Diego, but it wasn’t the first time we met… our story is all about great timing and fate.

We met for one week as sophomores in high school at a summer Leadership program. Once that week ended, we went our separate ways and picked our own paths into adulthood. Cam attended UCSD and joined the Navy; and I (Crystal) attended San Diego State University and became a manufacturing engineer. Cam returned from overseas and we ran into each other at a music festival in Downtown San Diego. We started dating and have lived together for 6 months now. I’m pretty sure he’s going to propose soon.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Probably running into each-other at the Music Festival, for the first time, after 12 years. We hadn’t seen each other since we were 15 years old, and I remember thinking to myself about what a good man he had become. I truly did not realize marriage would be something I considered until the moment I ran into him.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put it towards our future. We’d put it towards purchasing a condo, or a wedding, perhaps… maybe a kitty or two. On our first date he said that it felt as though we could see our future unfolding before us, and I think there’s no better way to put it than that.
