Connect How did your love story begin?

Homecoming dance 2016 - We kicked the night off by Ashley literally stabbing me in the heart with a rose boutonniere and planting the seed of what by the end of the evening became a sprout of love. After busting a move crazy style on the dance floor we gazed deeply into each others eyes as "Thinking Out Loud" played, and in some part knew that night wouldn't be the last one we spent in each other's arms.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory shared as a couple was during our first trip out of the country a few years ago. We had scrimped and saved to finally venture outside of the US to the Greek island, Naxos. Tucked away on a beach restaurant at night I sat across from Ashley committing her smile to memory by candlelight. All of a sudden fireworks started going off by the water breaking up the music from the accordion crooning musician and startling the chubby little cat we had been feeding by our table.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the money to supplement a down payment on a single family home. We are both very close to our families and want to create a communal space where we can meet, play board games, and raise our family. We believe the greatest value we can provide to the loved ones who have supported our love story from the beginning is a place to be apart of it.
