We met through mutual friends, eventually we started meeting up in a writing group that Randall had organized. The rest is history. Later I found out that before we even met, he had actually watched me sing on stage at a bar in the band I was in at the time; it was like the universe was trying to bring us together all along!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Over the past 12 years together it’s hard to decide, but aside from our wedding day, our favorite memory together is going on a long road trip to see the solar eclipse amongst nature. It was so surreal witnessing all the birds go silent and then hearing tree frogs start to chirp because they all thought the sun had set suddenly. On the way back we stopped at unique roadside attractions, the whole trip was unforgettable.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay off our bills, buy a second used car that we desperately need, and save the rest. Maybe I’d (Caitlin) even be able to quit one of my part time cleaning jobs for a while to focus on my artwork.
