We both wanted something intentional and vulnerable. We had intense conversations from the start to connect deeply. Engaged within 4 months.

We met through Hinge. After talking a lot through text, we realized we had a friend in common before meeting. Our first date we met at a rooftop bar. There were fireworks (unplanned but completely appropriate) and it was love at first sight.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? When I came home from a work event, Patrick had lit up candles around the house lighting the way from the door to the bedroom. On the bed were rose petals and tea lights with a scratch off lottery ticket and a 50 cent piece he got at a fair the day we met and carried with him since, which I didn’t know about before. I scratched the ticket and it asked me to marry him. I turned to him and he was down on one knee.
What would you do with $20,000?We would be able to pay towards our wedding. Money is very tight with me having medical concerns currently and Patrick has twin sons, one of which has surgery tomorrow on his eye. This would help us have the beautiful wedding we want.
