Connect How did your love story begin?

We had been friends for about a year, and I was starting to develop feelings. I wasn’t planning on doing anything until we went out with our friends one Friday night in college. I was paranoid about my car getting towed, so I left to go check. When I was coming back, I saw Adrian looking off into space at the table, but when his eyes locked on mine, I swear he lit up. He smiled and sparkled and I knew. I confessed the next morning, and we shook on it.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our first Valentine’s. I was incredibly nervous about ruining the night because of my propensity for panic attacks on holidays, but Bug talked me through everything and planned the most romantic night proving I had nothing to worry about. We had so much fun at an arcade and I was surprised with balloons, flowers, and my favorite squishy at the end of the night. We both proudly still have our photobooth prints. Bug’s addition to this Q: “That night is filled with so much love in my mind.”

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would change our lives. I’m currently out of work on short-term disability and Adrian had many medical bills this last month, so we would be able to take care of our bills, my student loans, and have leftover to spoil ourselves and our 7 children (2 dogs, 3 rats, 1 hamster, and 1 leopard gecko).
