How did your love story begin?

Our love story began at Online Dating Google! His profile read”I just want to laugh again! “ I thought, “ well I certainly can make him laugh!” We have not been apart since our first date! He had an uphill climb to get the approval of my two grown sons. He was a retired U.S. Marine, & my oldest Son was in the U.S. Army. He was an English Major & had attended West Virginia University & my youngest was an English Major! The Stars aligned for us!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have had so many beautiful memories as a couple. It is difficult to choose. But when we first met, I found out my oldest Son & his wife were expecting my first grandson! I asked him if he was ready to become a grandpa and he said, “as long as it is with you… absolutely!!” We experienced becoming grandparents together in our first year together. It was so beautiful!! Our grandson was two when we were married and is now 20!

What would you do with $20,000?

I am a Nursing Home Administrator & have worked with Seniors my entire life. (Since I was 17) I still work and my husband volunteers in my Nursing Home and we sing for my residents. I would use the money to buy new furniture for our residents dining room and outside patio! Then my husband and I would take a vacation together, a real honeymoon that we never had!!
