Connect How did your love story begin?

At my 21st bday party, I met this guy named Buck who politely crashed my party, showing up alongside a few friends I did know. By the end of the night, my feet were killing me. Buck offered to carry me & I declined bc we just met & I wanted to be classy. Seconds later, Buck handed me his sneakers & was barefoot. My roommate overheard his offer to carry someone, so he nicely walked barefoot, carrying her while I was belly laughing in his sneakers. Needless to say, I’m glad he crashed my party.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We both grew up in SC & dreamed of big city life, so aside from getting engaged last yr, experiencing NYC for the 1st time & together, no less, was unbeatable. One night, my dress ripped as I slid out the cab & Buck tied it up and made it wearable, then suddenly, it’s pouring rain & Buck grabs my hand & we’re dancing & laughing together in the pouring rain outside of Times Sq. A wardrobe malfunction & bad weather became an iconic, silly moment that made me fall deeply in love with him.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, Buck and I would be beyond excited and honored to put this money towards a couple of things to help us build our lives together. We’re getting married in October and would love to use some of the money towards our honeymoon. With the remaining money, we’d like to put this towards buying a house and truly creating a home of our own.
