We’d catch glimpses of each other at work with opposite schedules. I started looking forward to going in just for the chance to see him. We found reasons to talk, even if it was about nothing at all. Every moment felt special. I knew early on—he was the one.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?He told me we were taking a small trip in the country, so I didn’t bring my passport. At the airport, they asked for one—I panicked. Then he pulled out both of ours and smiled: “We’re going to Canada.” I had never been out of the country before. It was the sweetest surprise.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use it toward nursing school tuition and create more memories like our Canada trip—ones we’ll never forget.
