In 1982, I was new to Boulder CO, as a single parent of 2. Bruce and I met at a restaurant where I worked. I asked him out. He stood by me when my kids were abducted by their dad. He sold nearly all he owned to help me find and retrieve them. 2 years later we married & he adopted the boys. I finished college, started a business, and later become a teacher, a writer & sculptor who travelled the world making art. Together 42 years.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite moment happened when traveling through Ireland in search of stone circles using a book with scant details. We arrived at an ancient stone circle just as evening was coming, We were surrounded by sheep. Smoke rolled down from chimneys of the thatched roof cottages, illuminated by the setting sun. Nothing but the bleating sheep made a sound. Magical
What would you do with $20,000?Go on another adventure for the first time since 2014, possibly to Spain to visit the cave paintings in the north, then Matera & Pompeii Italy. Anything left to be used to update our 70 year old home.
