The first time we met was at a local bar in Dallas. The first words he said to me were, “You are so beautiful, please let me take you on a date.” I had just come out of a tough relationship, and though I wasn’t ready, he patiently waited six months. Never rushing, always kind. In that time, he helped me heal, showing me what real love means through care, affection, and unwavering support. He didn’t just wait, he showed up for me every day.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite shared memory is our shared love for park slides after dark. It’s our little tradition! Every time we pass a park, we have to stop and slide a few times. It’s silly, spontaneous, and always makes us laugh. These moments have become my favorite, letting us connect, be playful, and embrace our inner child together. It’s something so small, yet it means everything to us.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the money to finally begin the life we’ve been dreaming about but had to put on hold due to financial struggles. We often feel behind, stuck waiting for the right moment. This would help us move forward. Building stability, creating a home, and planning a future. We want to turn our late-night slide tradition into something more- Helping our future kids go down those same slides, together, as a family filled with love, laughter, and support.
