Eleven years and two daughters later, we’re still going strong.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our wedding day. Due to a limited budget, we built our own venue on my parents' waterfront property in Charleston, SC. I had a vision & Brooks brought it to life. Despite a forecasted storm just days before, we were set on an outdoor ceremony after all our hard work. We rushed to get clear umbrellas and rain boots—and got married in a tropical storm! In the end, the rain only made it more magical, and we ended up with some of the most stunning wedding photos as a result.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, I would divide it up to help make multiple goals a reality. Part would go toward paying off our shared debt, some into our daughters’ future college funds, a portion into savings, and a heartfelt amount would be donated to a cause that’s been close to my heart since becoming a parent—St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
