We are high school sweethearts, celebrating 6 years in December! We have began our lives together, and plan to continue our journey forever.
We would like to thank you for supporting Brooklyn and Simon in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met through the LDS church, and soon decided that we both no longer aligned with the teachings of the church. We left together, and learned who we are together. We met when we were 15 & 16, and have talked every day since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory was when we were moving in together at the age of 18, and that first night in our new apartment we listened to “our house” by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. It felt so special that we finally had a safe space to be with each other.
What would you do with $20,000?We would finally be able to get married!
