We met at 16 she was a devout Mormon, I wasn’t. Total Capulets and Montagues. We bonded in a high school law class, fell in love before we even knew what love meant, and married at 18. What started as teenage rebellion turned into a 20 year unfolding filled with loss, growth, and wild grace. And somehow, we’re more in love now than we ever knew was possible.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Some of our best memories are on vacation as a couple (shout out to microdosing magic mushrooms in Joshua Tree) to long road trips in deep conversation with the littles bobbing their heads in the back seat trying to fall asleep. But our favorite memories are the messy bits. It’s a blessing to be together even for a minute.
What would you do with $20,000?We never got to have a real wedding and in July we celebrate our 20 year anniversary. We would both love to have a ceremony with our children involved and show them that love really does conquer all.
