Connect How did your love story begin?

It all began with one sentence 14 years ago. “Nice rain dance.” Nick responded to a picture from my OK Cupid profile of me dancing and jumping in the rain. My joy attracted his joy. On our first date in the park Nick sat close to me so that the bar in the middle wasn’t separating us. I was transfixed by his light. Our love has continued to blossom over the past 14 years through all of the challenges, successes and change. Our spark has always remained as bright as the first day we met.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

While we’ve had amazing trips to Italy, Belize, Costa Rica, and the most fulfilling commitment ceremony in our favorite park, our favorite memory as a couple is spending Sundays in a little town about 35 minutes away from us called Doylestown. It speaks to the simplicity of our relationship and how much joy we get out of simply being together. This time is our reset, our opportunity for connection and play and a reminder of how deeply fulfilling spending time together is to us.

What would you do with $20,000?

Two years ago, Nick and I purchased the house he grew up in with the help of his sister. We have lived in this home together for the past 12 years and absolutely love the home we have created together. With the $20,000 we would begin some home renovations, including replacing the screen doors, a leaky sink, the hardwood floors and other home improvement projects that are much needed.
