Brittany and I were friends for a long time before getting together. I think we have the kind of love you read about in books; so beautiful!

We became best friends in 2006 and were both in relationships at the time. After each of us went through divorce, we tried dating other people. We soon realized we were meant for each other and started dating. Our kids were already best friends and our blended family just seemed to make sense!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There’s too many to count, but the first one that comes to mind is the proposal. We went to the hot springs (where we had our first date) and then to a local bookshop. They stayed open late for the proposal and Brittany’s cousin dressed in disguise for pictures to capture the moment!
What would you do with $20,000?We would most likely use it for a down payment on a home that is wheelchair accessible, or make our current home accessible as Brittany now uses her wheelchair most of the time due to her spina bifida. Our home has porch steps, so she has to use her manual wheelchair for out and about and her powered chair in the house since it’s too heavy to lift down the steps. It would be great to use out in the world because it gives her more independence.
