Over the years we’ve experienced various hardships, but it feels like we’re at our best when slogging through the difficult times together.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We met in the summer of 2012 at a pub in NYC called Blind Tiger. I was 23 and traveling there with friends to decide if I wanted to leave Southern California and move to the city. After chatting, we realized our childhood homes were less than a mile apart and we even attended high school together without ever meeting. I asked him how much money I needed to save before moving to NYC. After the trip, I spent a year saving and broke up with my boyfriend. We reconnected the next summer…
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? After living in Brooklyn together for a couple of years we decided to move back to California. We sold most of our possessions, rented a minivan, and packed up what would fit (including our new rescue dog, Esther!). We spent 10 days driving across country while checking out as many coffee shops as possible until we landed in Venice Beach to began our new chapter.
What would you do with $20,000?We would donate a portion to The Dravet Syndome Foundation, a non-profit close to our hearts and perhaps plan a trip for our 10-year wedding anniversary next year!
