Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began long before we even realized it was happening. We met at just 13 years old—Trey was way out of my league. He was the smart one, and well… I was popular, but definitely not the brightest crayon in the box (haha). I still remember him doing my homework for me back in 8th grade. Who would’ve thought that those hallway laughs and late-night homework help would turn into a forever kind of love?

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory? It’s hard to choose just one there are so many beautiful moments that live in our hearts. But if the little girl in me, the one who still believes in fairytales, had to pick… it would be our first kiss. After years of not seeing each other since high school, that kiss was something magical. It felt natural, effortless like something we’d been waiting for our whole lives without even knowing it. In that moment, I knew he was made for me, just as I was made for him.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, I’d use it to help move my family into a safer home. My partner Trey and I have three kids, and our current house has a serious mold issue. Mold can be dangerous, especially for children, and I constantly worry about their health. This money would give us a fresh start a clean, safe space where our kids can grow up happy and healthy. They deserve that peace, and as parents, so do we.
