We met in high school, and have been together ever since. Although our love story started at 17, we’ve had an invisible string our whole lives. About a year into dating we learned that Brightons long time drum teacher has been in a band with Cassia’s uncle since before we were born. Their band performed at Cassia’s parents wedding in 2019, 3 years before we met.

Our favorite memory was when we finally stopped hiding our relationship. Brightons dad has been extremely homophobic towards Cassia, even though he doesn’t know we’re dating, so we were afraid of how her mom would react. But when Brighton was hospitalized for an infection last year, it become a priority in case the worst were ever to happen, especially since we had been together for two years. Luckily her mom was so happy and supportive, and her and Brighton are so much closer because of it.

We would put it towards our future. We are both college students and our current money goes towards our school and living expenses. Brighton is a caregiver for her disabled sister and is a year away from graduating early with a degree in social work. Cassia is a barista, nail tech, and small business owner majoring in Advertising. We would put the money directly into savings for our future, mainly for IVG (if it is available!), because our dream is to have kids that are half of each of us
