We met in junior high in 1991—me in 8th, Brian in 9th—on a double date with each other’s best friend. It was obvious we clicked more with each other. We dated on and off after that, but by winter of ’96, we made it official—and we’ve been writing our love story ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In 1996, after two years apart, I was working the front desk at our local ski resort. Near closing time, I heard a voice say, “I’ve got 45 people who need tickets and rentals.” I panicked—then looked up to see Brian, smiling, eyes sparkling. “Just kidding,” he laughed. “I came to see you. Want to hang out later?” We haven’t parted ways since.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d go adventuring—traveling with our two adult kids and our grandchild, making memories that last. Then we’d invest in our home: new floors or a he/she entertainment shed where we can relax, entertain, and enjoy the life we’ve built together.
