We met through friends at a high school football game - Brian had a crush on me, though I didn’t know. Life took us on separate paths: he joined the military, I moved to California. By chance, we ended up living just blocks apart in San Diego, unknowingly crossing paths. Years later, in 2019, Brian messaged me out of the blue. That simple message reconnected us, and we've been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Dancing beneath the electric sky at Red Rocks, wrapped in the magic of the mountains and music, felt like stepping into another world. That night was a cosmic thread weaving our souls closer together. Our hearts were weightless, and we had a soul-level knowing: we’ve done this before, and we’ll do it again. “I love you in every lifetime,” we often say. Under the glowing sky, it felt truer than ever - that no matter how many lives we live, we will always find each other.
What would you do with $20,000?Six months after our wedding, we learned Brian has a rare genetic terminal disease that would likely be passed to our child. IVF gives us hope- a way to ensure our future child won’t suffer the same fate. We would use $20,000 toward IVF to grow our family safely and start the next chapter of our lives together.
