We were high school sweethearts that went our separate ways. Fate brought us back together in 1993. We have twin daughters with congenital heart defects so our love story began with tragedy and a hard life ahead of us. We have endured so many trialsand tribulations and with the grace of God, we are still very happily married for almost 32 years in October. During Covid, for 3 months with no work, we traveled the Oregon coast together in our F150 with a camper shell. We stayed the night in our pickup bed, loving each other, communicating things we never spoke of. We truly learned about each other in ways we never thought about or asked. We reconnected and truly fell in love with each other again. It helped us so much.

3 years ago we were homeless and living in our tent or slept in our truck. My brain tumor removal really effected my way of life. It changed me as a person. I used to be a welder, but due to my illness and lost vision, I simplycouldn't perform my skilled trade. We now live in a dilapidated 2006 RV that a kind young man sold us for very little money. It's full of mold and dry rot, but it's home for now. We would purchase a nice used RV or motorhome with the prize money if we were to win.
