Our love story began with a swipe right on Bumble and a Michael Scott quote. After a few days of chatting, we had our first date at a whiskey bar. A few whiskey sours later and a shared late night burrito, it was a match. The last decade has been filled with adventures, trips to the zoo, hiking, concerts, sporting events, camping, happy hours, a COVID wedding, laughter and tears. One of our joint couple goals is to get to a million kisses before we die and we are well on our way!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?After having to cancel our wedding in June 2020, we decided to get married on Zoom but still wanted to have a honeymoon. So, we combined our love of travel and camping and did a road trip up the west coast from San Diego to Portland, Oregon. Our trip included: 10 nights, 2,600 miles of driving, over 100,000 steps, 18 miles of biking, 5 campsites, too many hot dogs and PB&J sandwiches, endless podcasts and chatting about our future, plus a few bougie things. We call this our COVID honeymoon.
What would you do with $20,000?While we’ve had many wonderful trips together, near and far, we would use the money for our original honeymoon to Croatia, Italy and Prague. We would also continue to save away for retirement and our future family!
