They have been together for nearly 30 years! Have been through so much hardship and came out with so much love for each other
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We met in college while working the night shift at UPS. I was a ramp worker and Brian was a supervisor. We got serious pretty quickly, and went on Spring Break together. They had a no fraternization rule, and when we returned he was fired! Like most young couples (I was 19 and he was 20) we broke up and reunited several times before getting engaged 2 years later. That was 27 years ago.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? When Brian got sober. His drinking was out of control, after many years of thinking “the kids are young, they don't get it” (they did), we had a scary night and a line was drawn in the sand. He woke the next morning and surrendered. I remember hearing him approach, and when I turned around ready to fight he looked different. I will never forget the look on his sweet face. Something clicked, and everything changed. That was almost 4 years ago; neither of us thought we could be this in love again!
What would you do with $20,000?The options are endless! Help the kids pay off college loans, get the new AC system we desperately need, get a car (we have been sharing since I lost my job), but a trip to Hawaii is a bucket list item!
