Connect How did your love story begin?

Tinder. He was one of a few guys I had been talking to at the time. He turned out to be the most fun and interesting. We really hit it off a music lovers. I knew there was something about him after he sent me a list of over 30 bands he listens to. I invited him out to see some local music live. The first time he was mentioned on my Facebook we were at a concert. We officially started dating on Friday the 13th. Now every Friday the 13th is our anniversary.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Welcome to Rockville in 2021. Post pandemic, Brett had just beat acute pancreatitis and was newly diabetic. We were pretty broke, but we had managed to get tickets for the whole weekend and a crappy hotel room right on A1A. We drove down, straight thru like proper Michiganders. Nothing brings you closer than bonding over live music by some of the world's greatest musicians and a little struggle. Brett's car broke the day after we got back,fully cementing our "make the best of it" mentality

What would you do with $20,000?

Get married. We want to go to Las Vegas to tie the knot. Unfortunately, we haven't been immune to the economy. We have been blessed a kid graduating high school, being able to take care of some big car repairs and paying for Brett's college. It does not leave a lot to save for dream nuptials.
