We met in a bar. Tony asked me to dance and then asked for my phone number. I didn't want to get involved with anybody or wonder if he'd really call but he said he'd call me whenever I told him to and I said "ok. Call me at 7 AM tomorrow morning." After groaning, he agreed. I didn't know he always slept in on weekends and his friends said it must be love if he was up that early and on the phone. We talked for over 4 hours. Things went pretty fast after that.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we went to Las Vegas. Our first real vacation. Our adult kids tagged along for part of it. We saw Elton John, rode on the gondola, saw Cirque de Soleil, and the just the 2 of us took a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Seeing the huge canyon that nature made, spending time with our kids that still liked to hang out with us, and experiencing the city that never sleeps for the first time was amazing.
What would you do with $20,000?We would take a trip to Hawaii. We'd planned on going for our 35th anniversary but put that on hold because Brenda's dad was dying and spent that time and money seeing him and saying goodbye instead. We don't regret that at all but we'd still love to spend time together in Hawaii. Neither of us has ever been.
