Our love story began when I was 14 and Jay was 17, introduced by our best friends at a church youth group. My friend and I watched for the boys through the window, and the moment I saw Jason, I told her I’d marry him one day. Thirty years later, here we are—stronger than ever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s hard to choose just one—we’ve grown up and experienced life side by side. From raising a beautiful family and moving across the country, to backpacking, biking backcountry trails, exploring Italy, braving a nude beach, and living aboard our old boat—we’ve shared countless adventures, laughs, and memories.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use it for a down payment on a 5-acre property, where our son could build our dream home—a peaceful place to create lasting memories with our children and, hopefully, welcome grandchildren in the near future.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like America's Favorite Couple, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
