We were set up by his ex wife/my best friend in 2019. We all worked together at a local deli when we were teenagers, so the familiarity and friendship clicked instantly. For him, it was love at first (technically second) sight. For me, I immediately felt terrified; I tried to push him away. But he knew. He saw our future. I felt safe with him, so I put my faith in him. And he’s never let me down.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We love traveling. One of our favorite spots is New Orleans. Our trips there are some of my favorite memories. There is one trip in particular that stays with me. It was an anniversary trip. We had the comfiest Airbnb in the perfect location. We finally tried things we’d been talking about for years. We felt so relaxed, and we truly reconnected as a couple. We had our daughter in 2020, and the trip was in 2022. It was exactly what we needed.
What would you do with $20,000?We would probably pay off some of our debt, but we would use most of it to treat our family to a nice vacation in lieu of presents for Christmas. We prefer to make memories. We would love to take our 5 kids as well as extended families to a cabin in the mountains.
